Alright Batwoman lesbians, you are in for a ride with this episode. Buckle up, because this one is a doozy.

We open up to Ryan and Alice (not together, of course) writing a letter to none other than Kate Kane. The parallels between Ryan and Alice throughout this episode are, well, extremely evident and not at all subtle. While Alice writes to Kate in hatred, Ryan writes out of adoration.
In the present, however, Ryan is not doing so hot. She knows that she is going to die soon, and tries to inject herself with insulin. Mary stops her, and Ryan realizes that Luke is gone.
Luke was with Sophie, giving her the tracker that Ryan had placed on Alice. He believes that Ryan won’t be able to find Alice or Coryana, given the sickened state she’s in.
Back at the Batcave; Ryan, Mary, and Luke see through Sophie’s detective camera that Sophie and Kane have been beaten and kidnapped, presumably by Safiyah’s lackies. Ryan then decides to take the adrenaline shot, and wonders what is going to happen to her when they find Kate. As Ryan gets ready to leave, she gives Mary her plant for safe keeping. (Remember that for later.)
Ryan is flying now in a cargo plane, ready to drop and fling herself into the island of Coryana.
Meanwhile, Alice brings FO (fake Ocean) to Safiyah, who believes it to really be Ocean. However, Safiyah tells Alice she found the tracker that had been placed on her boot.
Sophie and Kane are in Coryana jail, and Tatiana comes to chat with them about why they are there. Safiyah wants Sophie as part of her army, and wants Kane to watch as Kate is killed by Alice. Okay. Then Sophie knocks Tatiana out, and they run.
Cut to Ryan successfully jumping out of the plan and slamming into Coryana’s surface. As Ryan lands, she sees the Desert Rose, and then is attacked by Safiyah’s hench-people.

Safiyah and Alice chat over FO’s dead body; Safiyah tells Alice that she wants to kill Kate because she wants love, not revenge. In that moment, the hench-people come back with Ryan, who then outs Alice to Safiyah and tells her that FO is not really Ocean. Safiyah then throws them both in prison. Lol.
Sophie and Kane meanwhile found Batwoman’s EMP that fell when she landed, now knowing that she is there.
In jail, Ryan and Alice begin to talk about Kate. Safiyah comes in, offers Ryan the Desert Rose or Kate. Ryan chooses the rose, and Alice gets to be the one to see Kate. Ryan doesn’t think Alice will kill Kate because she loves her, and that’s why she chose the rose…
Safiyah brings Ocean to Alice, the real Ocean. She says that if Alice wants to see Kate again, she really does have to kill Ocean this time. Just like how Safiyah gave Batwoman a choice of Kate or the rose, Alice now has to decide who is more important to her. Safiyah thinks that Ocean framed her and Alice doesn’t disagree, instead, she kills him.
Henchwoman shows up at Mary and Luke’s office space and tries to kill them for following Safiyah; however, Mary and Luke get the jump on her and Julia comes in to save the day. Where HAS Julia been, anyway? Ryan’s plant gets knocked over onto the henchwoman’s body and gets her blood on it.
Safiyah takes Alice to go see Kate, while Tatiana chats with Ryan. Ryan tells Tatiana that Alice won’t kill Kate. However, when Alice gets to the room Kate is supposed to be in, it’s simply a room with necklaces hanging from the ceiling, no Kate to be found.

At this moment, Julia tells Mary and Luke that they found body parts with a DNA match. Kate Kane is dead.
Alice accuses Safiyah of killing Kate, and Safiyah kicks her off the island. All the while, Sophia and Kane are still out there looking for her.
Safiyah goes back to Ocean and pulls the knife out of him, which brings him back to life (!!!) Evidently, the knife had some Desert Rose in it all along. Safiyah turns her attention to Tatiana and calls her out for framing Safiyah for Kate’s death all along. It’s true. Then Safiyah kills Tatiana with the same knife, saying she will take it out when she decides to forgive her.

As Alice is escorted off the island, she knocks out the henchmen, and sets fire to all of the Desert Roses…
Sophie finds Ryan laying by herself, dying. Ryan asks her to sit with her as she dies. Suddenly, Sophie gets a call from Luke, who says to bring Ryan back ASAP. Why? They found a cure.
Flash to Ryan’s plant that had been covered in Safiyah’s henchperson’s blood, which is now sprouting a Desert Rose!
Finally, we see a dead body with a mask, sporting one of those ceiling necklaces from before.
Roll credits.
