Olivia Swann drops “Pillow Princess” Single
London-based independent artist Olivia Swann dropped a new single on January 7, 2022. Get this- it’s called “Pillow Princess.” In one fell swoop, Swann announced her sexuality and called out an ex for never reciprocating.
Swann gets right to point explaining the tracks inspiration, “What more is there to say? You know who you are!” We were not surprised to find out Swann is a Leo with an Aquarius moon.

She went right for the jugular and I dig it! No shame in your game, sister. I, for one, wouldn’t dream of blaring this song in my car and jamming out while thinking of THAT ex who got all the satisfaction she wanted and never returned the favor. Yeah, definitely not me. *winks*
“Pillow Princess” is sultry, smooth and catchy, and the hypnotic vibe entices you to dance along. For real, this song aims to be cathartic for us salty ex-lovers. More lesbian specific anthems are always welcomed to the party. Tally up one more for lesbian culture!

Homegirl serves R&B flavored, jazz-influenced music with a dark side of pop. And she likes spilling the tea.
Last summer, Swann released, “No Thanks,” in which she called out the sexual harassment women have to deal with daily. “This is definitely an anthem for all of us, to tell the world that we are in control & we have a choice but we do need to look out for each other as it’s still happening every day.”
I’d say this babe is on a mission to empower women and our multifaceted lives and we should take notice. And if you like femme tomboys, Swann’s got you covered. She’s got the swagger to go with her punctuating lyrics.

On January 5, 2022, Swann captioned an IG post, “Nothing is going to stop me starting 2022 off right…” Swann has since started utilizing the #lgbt hashtag on her posts in a seemingly pivotal moment for the artist. Congratulations and welcome to the club!
Swann is actively performing in the UK but, for now, the US gal pals are just going to have to be jelly and hope Covid restrictions don’t keep her from gracing our stages for too long. She frequents Los Angeles so I’m hopeful. Swann stands by her motto, “If you want someone to like my music, get them to come see me live.” Stay in the know by following her on IG @oliviaswannmusic.
